Our Story

Why We Started This

It started with a conversation with a Greenville HVAC owner who was working 60 hours a week, doing excellent work — but still stressed about money. When we dug into why, the answer was simple: he was missing 8–10 calls every week after hours. That was $3,000+ a month walking out the door.

He'd tried hiring a part-time receptionist. But between scheduling, sick days, and the reality that calls come in at 9pm, there was no human solution that made economic sense. Meanwhile, big national companies were taking his potential customers because they had 24/7 answering covered.

We realized this wasn't just his problem — it was the problem for every small service business in the Upstate. HVAC companies, dentists, attorneys, property managers. The phone is the lifeblood of local business, and too many of those calls were going unanswered.

So we built Upstate AI Receptionist — an affordable, professional, AI-powered solution specifically designed for Upstate SC businesses. We're not a call center in Ohio or a tech startup in San Francisco. We're your neighbors, and we're personally invested in your success.
